DUT RTD analysis

Background

This tech note analyzes a commonly occurring pain point in the ITU-T acoustic test regime for audio quality test in the vehicle. The requirements analyzed here is RTD or round-trip delay. It is a parameter that is a significant contributor to perceived voice call quality in modern wireless networks. It is important to note here that the measurement is calculated from two independent measurements in the acoustic lab. The analysis presents the methodology of the measurement and the calculation to arrive at RTD.
